主讲人介绍:Deping Ye(叶德平),2000年本科毕业于山东大学,2000-2003年在浙江大学读研,2009年博士毕业于美国Case Western Reserve University,现任职于加拿大Memorial University of Newfoundland,并主持加拿大国家自然科学基金(NSERC)。于2017年获得JMAA Ames奖。长期从事凸几何分析,几何和泛函不等式,随机矩阵,量子信息理论,和统计学等领域的研究。已在国际著名杂志J. Funct. Anal.,Calc. Var. Partial Differential Equations,Adv. Math., Comm. Pure Appl. Math., Math. Ann.,等发表论文近40篇。


内容介绍:The covariogram function of a convex body naturally defines many central objects in convex geometry, such as the difference body and Petty projection body. By extending the covariogram function of a convex body to a higher order setting, we can define the higher order version of the difference body and Petty projection body. In this talk I will explain how to get this extension done. Moreover, I will talk about our new affine isoperimetric and affine Sobolev inequalities in the higher order setting.
