主讲人介绍：周家足，西南大学数学与统计学院教授，数学研究所所长，湖北省楚天学者主讲教授，香港求是杰出青年学者奖，中国政府友谊奖，重庆市国际科技合作奖，重庆市友谊奖，贵州省“黔中英杰”。论文发表在Trans. AMS、Adv. Math.、Adv. Appl. Math.、Sci. China Math.、China Ann. Math.等期刊上，主持国家自然科学基金及教育部重点基金8 项。
内容介绍：We begin with the isoperimetric problem that was known in Ancient Greece. Then we will introduce the isoperimetric inequalities for geometric measures that will directly link to recent advances and applications to mean curvature. Isoperimetric inequalities for mean curvatures will be introduced. The talk coves some joint works with N. Fang, X. Li, H. Wang, W. Xu, C. Zeng, Z. Zhang and B. Zhu.
